Sant Jordi Celebration: Literature, Creativity and Tradition at ISCB

Where the learning adventure begins

On 23rd April, International School CB celebrated Sant Jordi’s Day, embracing one of Catalonia’s most beloved cultural traditions. Although the school follows a British international curriculum, it strongly values local customs that promote creativity and community.

The celebration included the traditional Jocs Florals, where students shared poems and stories written with great imagination. Handmade roses and bookmarks crafted by the students were sold at school, adding a personal touch to the festivities. A book sale also took place, encouraging a love of reading among pupils and families.

This meaningful celebration reflects the school’s commitment to honouring local heritage while fostering creativity and shared experiences.
