Parent–Teacher Association (PTA)
A community built together
At ISCB, the Parent–Teacher Association (PTA) plays a valuable role in strengthening our school community and enhancing the educational experience for both students and families.
The PTA supports a collaborative environment where parents, teachers and the school work together—helping to enrich school life through community events, fundraising initiatives and positive communication between home and school.
How the PTA works at ISCB
The PTA helps strengthen school life in practical ways, such as:
- Monthly meetings where families can share questions, raise topics and receive updates.
- Constructive dialogue and conciliation, helping parents connect with each other and, when needed, facilitating communication with the school leadership team.
- Community support, especially helpful for families who are new to the school or relocating.
- Take part in school events and community moments organised by ISCB
- Support initiatives or projects that help strengthen the sense of community
A strong sense of community beyond the PTA
- Student voice and responsibility, such as committees and class representatives
- Houses and House Points, helping build teamwork and shared identity
- Assemblies, where students come together to celebrate learning and values
- Cultural celebrations reflecting our multicultural community (e.g., Day of Languages, Sant Jordi, Halloween)
