Our daughter has been at the ISCB for her last two and a half years of primary school and she has had a wonderful experience so far. We were pensive about how she might handle transition from a large international school in Singapore to a much smaller school here in Spain, but she has thrived in the ISCB environment. Smaller class sizes, the proximity to nature, experiential learning, and her patient, excellent teachers have helped her grow in both confidence and creativity. Our three children have been attending the International School Costa Brava for the past two years, and we are very satisfied with the overall quality and approach of the school. The teaching staff is highly dedicated, professional, and passionate about helping each child reach their full potential. Small class sizes ensure individual attention and a focused learning environment. The school combines strong academics with a warm, supportive atmosphere. Our children enjoy going to school every day. They benefit not only from high-quality education but also from a healthy, warm lunch and plenty of outdoor activity, including regular football games on the school’s well-maintained sports field. Our children especially love the outdoor activities, with the weekly forest class being a true highlight. These sessions offer hands-on learning about nature and focus on developing independence and practical life skills in a natural setting. The student body is truly international, with a significant number of Russian and Ukrainian children. The school actively promotes the use of English as the common language, ensuring clear communication and integration among all students. We appreciate the school’s inclusive philosophy, where every child is treated equally—regardless of background or nationality. The school is located in a beautiful, historic building with stunning views, which adds to the unique and inspiring learning environment. As a relatively young school—founded around 2019—there is a clear willingness to grow and improve. Both the school and its staff continue to learn and adapt.
