Learning to Add with Ladybirds – Fun with Numbers

This week in Foundation Stage, we had a fantastic time learning maths through our ladybird theme! The children used dice to decide how many ladybirds to draw on one side of the equation, then added a plus sign and rolled again to find the second group. Finally, they counted all the ladybirds to find the total.

All the children completed the activity with minimal help, showing great independence and enthusiasm. A fun, hands-on way to practise early addition skills!
