BAKING COCA DE SANT JOAN

This week, Year 5 and Year 6 students celebrated Catalan culture by baking the traditional Coca de Sant Joan. They followed the recipe entirely in Catalan, strengthening their language skills through hands-on learning. With great enthusiasm, they measured, mixed, kneaded, and decorated their coques with candied fruit and sugar. It was a delicious and educational experience that blended tradition, language, and creativity. What a sweet way to learn and welcome the summer season!
