YEAR 2 WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS
What a brilliant and creative week Year 2 has had! During PSHE, the children explored their own talents and personal skills through fun and reflective activities.
They also enjoyed a visit to the school farm, where they lovingly cared for rabbits, turtles, and chickens — a great opportunity to practise empathy and responsibility.
In Science, they travelled to outer space by building their own Solar System models, and later in the week, they created colourful windsocks to explore how the wind moves. We tested them outside and loved watching them dance in the breeze!
In Topic, we continued diving into Ancient Egypt. The children designed and decorated their own pharaoh crowns — they looked regal and ready to sail down the Nile!
It’s been a week filled with imagination, learning, and joy across every subject!
