From Caterpillars to Frogs – A Journey Through Life Cycles

At Foundation Stage, the children have been on a fascinating science journey! After learning about the life cycle of butterflies and observing caterpillars transform into cocoons and then into butterflies, they moved on to explore the life cycle of frogs.

They collected tadpoles and observed their development over several weeks — from tadpoles to froglets, and finally into frogs. This week, they joyfully released 14 frogs back into their natural environment, where they can continue their journey and start new families.

It was a magical and hands-on learning experience that the children absolutely loved. They were even able to hold the frogs and witness the changes up close!
